  • Connor Darling
    Sales Manager

I am a Mainer, born and raised in Hampden, Maine. My family has proudly been in the Maine automotive industry for generations. They taught me many lessons, but most importantly, I learned hard work and community caring. The dealership has been my second home where I began working while still in high school. Since 2012, I have worked in recon, parts, service, as a used vehicle buyer and most recently, TDI Sales manager. While working at the dealership, I studied business administration at the University of Maine.

My home is Bangor now. Here I often have many canine visitors, as I am a "professional dog sitter" for many friends and family. I also enjoy adventures snowboarding, cliff jumping, longboarding and bowling. Caring for my community is still a big part of my life. My favorite community givebacks include the Sugarloaf Charity Summit, FUSIONBangor Sports, and the Darling's Ice Cream Truck.

I most enjoy the sense of shared community at Darling's. We are a caring team, dedicated to customer satisfaction. The true value of customer satisfaction is more than a sale, it is community caring. I am driven to ensure the success of my community every day. Feel free to reach out anytime.

During my time at Maine Maritime I worked at Dar-ling's Ford as a Sales Intern and worked in the Recon department cleaning vehicles. I was able to come a little closer to home and my family in 2018 when I became Sales Manager at the Used Vehicle Center in Bangor. I moved to Ford as Sales Manag-er in 2019

Outside the dealership, I have the greatest job of all, dad to two sweet girls. I spend as much time as possible with my girls, Morgan and Makenna. One of their favorite things to do is have pizza picnics and going to the park with dad. We also enjoy time with our Burnese Mountain dog Emma. I am also a proud member of the Lions Club. When I'm not with my kiddos I am watching my favorite teams the Steelers, Red Sox, Bruins or Celtics play or enjoying a concert at the Darling's Waterfront Pavilion.

Darling's has been a great place to continue to grow in my career and I'm proud of all they do. It may be overstated but they truly go above and beyond for their employees and customers. I get a good feeling everyday working for a family owned company. Our customers are a part of the family from the minute they walk in the door. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Trey Prouty
    Sales Manager

My roots are in Dover-Foxcroft, where I was born and raised to love Ford. My parents owned a local Ford dealership, where at the age of twelve I started as a cleaner. They taught me every part of the dealership: I worked in parts, maintenance, recon, service and sales. In 2002, I moved to the big city of Bangor, where I continued to work in the automotive industry. I found a family at Darling's Ford in 2018 starting as Sales Manager.

My home is Hermon now where I live with my incredible wife Kim, our three boys and Shelby the black lab. Shelby was named after one of my favorite Ford vehicles, the Shelby Mustang. Outside the office, I love spending time with my family. I most enjoy cheering on the boys at their swimming competitions and family vacations to the beach. We are a family of beach bums and try to spend as much time as possible together soaking up the sun. When I do need some "me" time, I enjoy golfing and volunteering. I am a local Shriner and Mason.

Darling's has become my second family. At Darling's, the dealership is a place of positivity, filled with happy customers and employees. It is a sense of community caring every time I walk through the door.  My goal is to provide the best experience and knowledge to every customer. The best experience starts with positivity and caring. I love to make every vehicle purchase fun and exciting, and it's even better if I can make you laugh. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Harvard Austin
    Senior Sales Representitive

The Ellsworth community has known me for a good portion of my life, as I was born and raised here. My work before Darling's included contracting work and eventually a job in the seafood industry. After 20 years of seafood I needed a change and found Darling's in 1995.

1995 was a good year as I found a passion for car sales at Darling's. My passion for cars grew along with my love for the company as I moved to Sales Manager in 2000 at the Ford location in Bangor. I missed my little city of Ellsworth and moved back as Sales Manager in 2014 at Darling's Automall. In 2016, I moved to Sales Manager at our Chevrolet dealership. I came back to my roots at Ford in 2019 where I became a Senior Sales Representative.

Ellsworth is the place I grew my life with my wonderful wife of 33 years. Our two kids have grown and we now have two cats to take care of. I've always been an advocate for giving back to my community and have served on many organizations throughout the years. I am honored to have served on the Ellsworth Lions Club for over 20 years and the Shriners for over 30 years. When I do have time to relax I enjoy anything outside, including hunting, fishing, boating and camping at Donnells Pond.

Darling's for me is unlike any company in the area. Everyone is treated as family, whether customer or employee. To me this is the difference and why I'm proud to work here, we all deserve to be treated well, just like family. Feel free to reach out to me anytime and you'll be a part of the family, if you aren't already.
